Here is the Scoop on Crystals

Are you looking for an alternative way to manage emotions and heal? Do you become anxious for no apparent reason? Do you have a hard time falling asleep? Do you have fears that keep you from doing everyday activities?

 

Some people say it is 'woo woo' but crystals have been such an important part of my life for 15+ years. 

 

Our bodies are made up of various ENERGY CENTERS and when these become blocked, stagnant, or unbalanced, it can cause illness. You may not be aware, but you are constantly exchanging energy and information with everything around you.

 

Our thoughts and intentions have vibrational frequency and crystals pick up on this and amplify the vibes. 

 

Each crystal holds its own unique vibrational energy which has its own frequency. Crystals therefore can interact with your energy field.

  

The benefits of crystals are unlimited and are a great way to self soothe. Whether it is nerves, sadness, fear, worry, self compassion, confidence, negativity, restlessness, etc.....they are a valuable asset to your Self-Care routine.

 

 

My favorite crystals are yellow citrine, black tourmaline, blue lace agate, selenite, rose quartz, purple amethyst, and clear quartz.

 

I go to sleep every single night holding my yellow CITRINE crystal. I love the way it feels in my hand and HOW it brings me a sense of peace. Citrine is known to help attract abundance, release negativity, and help with manifesting goals. The color yellow is also a symbol of the sun which rejuvenates and makes you happy.

  

I recommend putting a crystal inside your pillowcase so you can have it close to you all night and it won't accidentally get lost. 

 

When you are settling in for the night, hold the crystal in your hand to observe, touch, and say your INTENTION out loud for that crystal. i.e. this crystal will help me calm my mind and get a good night of rest.

 

 

*BONUS*

Kids are really drawn to crystals and are very receptive. They love the different colors, shapes, and textures. Crystals are like "magical jewels" to them. Their imaginations aren't blocked by societal boundaries and expectations yet. This is the perfect time to introduce crystals!

 

Crystals also deepen your meditation practice, strengthen intuition, raise consciousness, and amplify your intentions.

 

Crystals will need to be recharged after usage. They hold onto the energy they are exposed to so it is very important to stay on top of cleansing and charging your crystals (I do mine 2x per week).  The more they are used, the more frequently it needs to be done. 

 

How do you cleanse a crystal?

Smudging is great way to cleanse your crystals. You can do it with sage spray or sage smoke. When I use the spray, I gently spray a mist over the crystals. When I use smoke, I make sure the smoke envelopes around them so they are immersed in a cloud of smoke.

 

How do you charge a crystal?

Place your crystals in the sunlight (windowsill works great) or under the moonlight (outside) for at least 24 hours. A full moon is ideal but not required.

It is super important as you are cleansing AND charging to set an INTENTION such as, "Please purify this crystal and release all of its negative energies.”

  

Another way I like to incorporate my smaller crystals is by wearing them in a birdcage necklace (crystal stores usually sell them). Being able to change out the crystal from day-to-day and wearing it against my body is very convenient. I also like to put a crystal in my pocket and purse.
