Meditation is not just about sitting in silence and checking a task off your list ✅.... it’s about creating a space where you can step away from the incessant chatter of your EGO.
When you meditate, you cultivate mindfulness—a state of BEING fully present in the moment without judging yourself.
This practice helps to turn down ⬇️ the volume of your EGO that won’t shut up and allows your Soul to emerge.
🟣 From the moment you were conceived, your Soul began its amazing journey. Your Soul needs a physical body so it can have the opportunity to learn, grow, and evolve through having a human experience.
🟣 Your Soul is similar to a pilot light 🔥—constantly burning, waiting for you to adjust its brilliance. Picture meditation as the dial that controls your brilliance.
🟣 Meditation also acts as a vacuum...clearing away the energetic clutter from your physical body and Soul, allowing your inner light to shine brightly. 💡 This helps you feel more connected to your Soul and opens you up to receiving intuitive guidance. ✨
Once you’ve created a calm and mindful space, it’s time to set your clear & specific INTENTIONS. 🧘♀️
When you set your INTENTIONS, you are aligning your energy with what you do want & giving your wish list to God/Universe/Source.
What you focus on expands. Due to the Law of Attraction you attract similar energies and opportunities into your life, supporting the manifestation of your goals.
If you don’t express your desires, it’s like hopping into your car and allowing your GPS to decide on where you go. That sounds crazy, right?
Visualize: Take a moment to visualize your intentions coming to fruition. Imagine how it feels, looks and sounds. This helps to reinforce your intentions in your subconscious mind. 🧠
Feel the Emotion: Connect with the emotions behind your intentions. How will achieving these intentions make you FEEL? Emotions are powerful activators and help you to align your energy body with your desires.
One of my favorite places to get meditations is on my phone using the app, "Insight Timer." It's completely free and there are a wide variety of topics you can choose from.
It's completely normal for your mind to wander. Asking your mind not to wander is like asking your heart not to beat. 💜 Give yourself grace.
All you need to do is witness your mind wandering, bring it back to the present moment again, and keep repeating that process. 🧘♀️
It's a muscle you have to strengthen. You wouldn’t go to the gym and expect a 6-pack after a month would you? Same thing with meditation…it takes time, patience and consistency.
Integrating meditation into your daily schedule also plays a role in reducing anxiety, depression, and pain.
Start with just 5 minutes each morning and work your way up. Starting a new practice going all in with unrealistic goals will crash and burn you quickly…always start small.
Whether your goals are for mental clarity, physical wellness, or spiritual alignment, approaching them with mindfulness and focus empowers you to manifest the life you truly seek.
