What are you doing for yourself each day to experience JOY? As a mom, we often underestimate the little things we can do to elevate our days.
Waking up before my husband and kids gives me joy because I have uninterrupted peace and quiet to meditate, write, listen to a podcast, go for a walk, etc. I need that time to connect to my Soul and align with what I want in life.
You may wonder...how can I experience more JOY?
Here are your clues....what little moments throughout your day make you feel energized, excited and inspired? What did you love to do when you were a kid? Now write down those things down on a Post-It note and stick it on the refrigerator door.
Being a mom comes with many demands and expectations. Giving ourselves a seat in the back of the car should not be one of them. We don't have to sacrifice our happiness.
Here are some examples of savoring the small moments:
🦋 Sitting outside in the morning for 10 minutes
🦋 Drinking a cup of coffee/tea
🦋 Watching the birds
🦋 Bare feet in the grass
🦋 Walking in nature
🦋 Giving yourself a facial
🦋 Meditating for 5 minutes
🦋 Taking a long bath
🦋 Walking/playing in the rain
🦋 Reading a book
🦋 Watching your favorite comedy show
🦋 Coloring
🦋 Going for a bike ride
Each day, make it a goal to do at least one of those things on your Post-It note. Start small...our brains are not designed to take on large changes because it isn't sustainable long-term. Think baby steps.
The energetic shift you will feel over time will raise your vibration and you will find yourself smiling more, having more energy & attracting people and experiences into your life for your highest good. You will create a magnetizing 🧲 force around yourself that brings in only things at the frequency at which you are vibrating. ✨
Think of yourself like a garden. 🌱 Planting seeds in rich soil that is deeply nourished will give them the best chance of growing into a healthy flower or plant. 🌸 If you don't prepare the soil properly or you try to plant the seeds in cement, the seeds will not grow and will stay stagnant below the surface...never reaching their full potential. 😢
Humans are the same way. If we don't invest in ourselves and create a vessel that is healthy, we can't expect to feel great and create a life we desire when our nervous system is out of whack. Our nervous system speaks energy and emotion.✨ When we start focusing on regulating it, we become a receiver and a vessel for joy.❤️
When we FEEL joy, the energy of it will radiate to our kids, husband, significant other, etc. They will notice something is different and will unconsciously respond to your vibration and in turn, raise theirs. 🙌
You wouldn't let the battery on your cell phone die during the day would you? Now make a promise to yourself that you will plug 🔌 yourself into JOY each day so you can experience ease, abundance, and fun. Remember...baby steps. Perfection is not welcome here.
