#1 WAY MOMS CAN HEAL THEMSELVES
As moms, we often find ourselves constantly giving. From the moment we wake up to the time we finally lay our heads down at night, our days are filled with an endless stream of tasks, emotions, and care for others.
We give our energy, our love, our patience, and our time—often without even a second thought. But in this constant state of giving, we forget something incredibly important: THE NEED TO CREATE SPACE TO RECEIVE.

In the spiritual journey of motherhood, there is a profound lesson in balance. The universe operates on the principle of give and take, an intricate dance of energy flow that keeps everything in harmony.
We’ve all heard of “karma” or the “law of cause and effect.” This universal law is a reminder that what we put out into the world—our love, kindness, and energy—will eventually come back to us. However, in order for this cycle to be complete, we must also be open and willing to RECEIVE.
For us moms, RECEIVING is just as essential as giving. Yet, it’s a practice that often feels foreign or even selfish. We are conditioned to think that our worth is tied to how much we can give, how well we can serve, or how tirelessly we can care.
We learned this from our mothers, grandmothers, and society. They only did what they knew at the time. There was no intent to harm. But now we know better and can do better for our children, grandchildren, and so on.
The truth is, when we create space to RECEIVE, we are allowing the universe to fill us back up. We are replenishing our own energy reserves, which in turn makes us even better caregivers, partners, and friends.
Picture yourself as a tree. You spread your branches wide to provide shade and comfort, but you also need rain to nourish your roots. Without receiving the rain, the tree becomes weak and can’t provide shade. RECEIVING is like the rain that feeds your SOUL allowing you to stand strong and support others.
When we close ourselves off from RECEIVING, we aren't just limiting our own growth and well-being—we are also blocking the collective progress of humanity. This is because we are all interconnected, like individual waves in the ocean. Each of us is part of a greater whole, and our energies are deeply intertwined. When one wave holds back, the ripple effect is felt throughout the entire ocean.

Our children learn so much from watching us, including how to take care of themselves. When we make RECEIVING a part of our daily lives, we are teaching our kids that it’s okay to ask for help, to take breaks, and to accept love and kindness from others. We’re showing them that self-care isn’t selfish; it’s a vital part of a balanced life.
Imagine your love and energy as a bank account. If you constantly withdraw without making deposits—like moments of joy, relaxation, or receiving kindness—eventually, the account becomes empty. RECEIVING is like making deposits; it ensures that your love account is always in surplus, ready to give generously when needed.
Creating space to RECEIVE is about finding a balance that honors both your role as a mom and your own beautiful soul. The universe is ready and willing to give to you; all you have to do is open yourself up and make space for those blessings to flow in.
So the next time someone wants to give you a gift, a compliment, or a helping hand…..RECEIVE IT WITH LOVE & GRATITUDE. Remember, you are worthy of receiving just as much as you give. This is the beginning to healing a version of your inner child that thought otherwise.
